Knutson+Casey provides confidential legal counseling and assistance regarding a wide range of legal issues to all currently enrolled Minnesota State University, Mankato students. We are able to help students with a variety of problems, including: landlord/tenant relations, accident and injury problems, domestic violence, harassment and other criminal matters, divorces and other family law matters, automobile purchases, credit and financial issues, and employment matters.

We also assist students with issues they have with other MNSU departments in areas such as housing, financial aid, harassment, discrimination, student discipline, and faculty misconduct. We give students the information they need to assess their options and, in appropriate cases, will negotiate on behalf of the student, as well as draft letters and legal documents for the student. Students may make an appointment by telephone at (507) 389-2611, in person, or by filling out the Appointment Request Form. Student attorney office hours are Tuesday 9:00 AM – Noon and Thursday 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM.
